1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Threshold Monitoring App for Stripe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Threshold is a Stripe account monitoring and analytics tool that helps merchants understand and track indicators that may affect their Stripe account standing. The Service analyzes metrics across your Stripe account and presents a health score and related insights.
3. No Guarantee of Outcomes or Data Accuracy
Important: We do not guarantee any outcome or the accuracy of data provided by the Service. The Service relies on external systems, APIs, and infrastructure that may experience outages, errors, or return incomplete or delayed data. Server issues, Stripe API changes, network problems, or other technical failures can affect the availability and accuracy of the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.
4. How Our Algorithms Work
Our algorithms monitor and weight dozens of metrics from across an entire Stripe account. The health score, likelihood-of-review meter, and other analytics are tools to help you understand your account and risk factors—they are not guarantees or predictions of Stripe's actions. Our Service requires the accompanying Stripe App to be installed to your Stripe account to function properly. If the app is not installed, we cannot collect any data from your account. If the app is not reinstalled within 90 days, we will remove your data from our database and cancel any active subscriptions.
5. Stripe Health Score and Likelihood of Review
- Health Score: A good or high "Stripe health score" doesnot mean Stripe cannot or will not close, suspend, or take other action on your account. Stripe makes its own decisions based on many factors that may not be visible or measurable through our Service.
- Likelihood of Review: Our "likelihood of review" meter is based on our experience, data from other sources and users, and Stripe's published recommendations and thresholds. These are estimates and educational tools only—Stripe may review or take action on accounts regardless of what our Service indicates.
6. Stripe Recommendations and Best Practices
We strive to stay updated with the latest information and recommendations from Stripe. Stripe's policies and practices may change over time, and we cannot guarantee our content or algorithms always reflect the most current guidance. You should also consult Stripe's official documentation and support for authoritative information.
7. Not Professional Advice
The Service does not provide legal, financial, tax, or compliance advice. Use the Service as a reference and planning tool only. For decisions affecting your business or Stripe account, consult qualified professionals.
8. Your Feedback and Support

9. Account and Data
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Stripe account and complying with Stripe's terms and policies. The Service uses only read-only access to your Stripe account, so the Service cannot change any of your settings or data on your behalf.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities, or any decision you make based on the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or, if greater, one hundred dollars ($100)).
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Service, email, or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
